Occupational Health and Wellbeing service

The Trust believes that having healthy employees is good for patient care. Healthy employees tend to be more productive and creative. As a result, our staff turnover is reduced, whilst morale and staff engagement is maintained.

The Occupational Health and Wellbeing service provides:

  • Work health assessment checks
  • Monitoring of the work environment
  • Statutory health surveillance including spirometry and visual display unit screening
  • Counselling
  • Immunisations including travel vaccines from April 2013 (will be charged for)
  • Contact dermatitis screening
  • Vision screening
  • Health promotion
  • Advice and assessment following sharps and non-sharps incidents
  • Management referrals and advice
  • For information regarding work station assessments please contact the Back Care Advisory Service team; Julie Dixon or Emma Tarpey on ext. 3243.
