Occupational Health and Wellbeing service
The Trust believes that having healthy employees is good for patient care. Healthy employees tend to be more productive and creative. As a result, our staff turnover is reduced, whilst morale and staff engagement is maintained.
The Occupational Health and Wellbeing service provides:
- Work health assessment checks
- Monitoring of the work environment
- Statutory health surveillance including spirometry and visual display unit screening
- Counselling
- Immunisations including travel vaccines from April 2013 (will be charged for)
- Contact dermatitis screening
- Vision screening
- Health promotion
- Advice and assessment following sharps and non-sharps incidents
- Management referrals and advice
- For information regarding work station assessments please contact the Back Care Advisory Service team; Julie Dixon or Emma Tarpey on ext. 3243.

“Consistent and professional care, delivered in a friendly way.”
More patient comments from NHS Choices“During my three days stay, I didn't meet one unfriendly employee. Everyone was so experienced, nice and helpful, which made the experience of giving birth less stressful.”
