Macmillan Cancer Information Centre
Information for you, your family and friends
The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre was developed in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support. It provides a relaxed and friendly environment where anyone affected by cancer can ask questions and talk through their concerns with specialist staff.
What do we offer?
Our Centre is open to anyone affected by cancer. You may have cancer yourself, care for a friend or relative, work as a health professional, or simply want to know more about cancer. Call in and browse through our library of resources, which includes:
- Information on all aspects of living with cancer
- Details of local and national support agencies and services
We also provide a weekly benefits advice service in conjunction with the local Citizens Advice Centre for residents of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. Please call 020 8440 4227 to make an appointment. Alternatively, you can call in to see the Adviser without an appointment between 10am-12.30pm on Tuesdays. If you are only travelling to the Centre to meet the Adviser you may like to call first (on the number above) and confirm the session is running.

Just drop in...
The service is located at the main entrance of Barnet Hospital.
We are open Monday-Friday between10am-4pm (except bank holidays).
Getting in touch
You are welcome to just "drop in" to the Centre - you don't need an appointment. Please call first if you are making a long journey.
If you are not able to travel to the Centre you can get in touch by phone. Outside of our opening hours you can leave a message on our answerphone and we'll call you back.
