Join our midwives on a fun-filled walk

International Day of the Midwife Thursday 5 May

On Thursday 5 May midwives from Maternity Services will join mothers, mothers to be and their families on a walk through the local community to meet for a celebration picnic at Trent Park.

Please join us to celebrate the International Day of the Midwife, to raise awareness of normal birth and how midwives enable this to happen and the role of the midwife in promoting normal birth.

The walk is talking place on Thursday 5 May at 10am. Please meet outside the Emergency Maternity Unit entrance (near the car park) at Barnet Hospital or Maternity Unit entrance (Women's and Children's Unit) at Chase Farm Hospital.

Weather permitting we will walk and meet at the halfway point of Trent Park for a picnic at 12.30pm. Please bring refreshments and a picnic.
