Staff from across the Trust enjoyed an exciting game of cricket at the first ever NHS Cricket Demonstration Day last week. Staff played on a team led by Mike Gatting OBE against a British Telecom team led by Tony Chanmugan, Non Executive Director. The team from BT won by a single run!

Mike Gatting said; "It was a pleasure to play with the staff. Some of the hospital staff were very good. I’m extending an invitation for a regular match against them with a local team in Winchmore Hill”.

The NHS Cricket Demonstration Day was held as part of the Trust’s commitment to increase physical activity of our staff and to support them in their overall health and wellbeing. Last year the Trust participated in the very successful Corporate Global Challenge and held popular Staff Health and Wellbeing Fayres.

The Trust would like to thank the England and Wales Cricket Board for their support in organising the NHS Cricket Demonstration Day.

“Professional, friendly, caring, calm and clean!”

“During my three days stay, I didn't meet one unfriendly employee. Everyone was so experienced, nice and helpful, which made the experience of giving birth less stressful.”
