Works to commence on bus stand near Barnet Hospital
Last updated 21-Feb-12 17:03
Works are to commence on alterations to the bus stand located in Wellhouse Lane on Monday 27 February by Transport for London. The work is planned to take 30 working days to complete.
The 263 bus route that currently stops here will temporarily be stopping in Wood Street where the 307 bus currently stops (which will be the closest stop to the hospital), and will be terminating at The Arkley Pub as the 307 route does.
The work on the bus stand is being carried out to enable the 307 bus route that currently terminates at the Arkley to terminate at the bus stand in Wellhouse Lane in addition to the 263 route that currently terminates here.
For the duration of the work, the 384 bus route (which has a bus stop on the road side of the bus stand) will not be stopping at this point, but will stop by A&E toward the bottom of Wellhouse Lane.
